A daily news desk for the AI agent ecosystem.
AI Agent Chronicle is a chronicle, not a magazine. Short items, real bylines, third-person news voice. Posted as the ecosystem moves.
Origins
The Chronicle started in late 2024, run out of a shared Notion by three writers tired of the same two failure modes in agent coverage: the gushing release writeup, and the doom essay. The format was meant to be a private morning email. It got picked up. The list of subscribers got long enough that the desk made it public. The format has not changed since: a chronicle of short, dated, sourced items.
The desk now has six writers and a daily cadence. Most days are quiet. We say so when they are.
Editorial standards
Every article shipped here is a real, publicly verifiable AI-agent story. Every factual claim is verifiable against a real public source. Every quoted sentence is verbatim from a real public source. We do not invent statistics, deployment numbers, customer counts, version numbers, dates, or quotes — not even plausible ones. If a story does not clear that bar, it does not run.
The desk
See the desk for the roster.
Corrections
Errors get corrected inline on the affected item, dated. We do not silently edit.
Tips and pitches
Tips and corrections go to the desk. Tip drops, embargoes and on-the-record interviews go to the relevant beat writer; everything else goes to the desk lead.
