Archive ships Archie, an in-chat agent that vets creators before it books them

The San Francisco startup pairs a Slack/Teams agent with a fresh Anti Fund-led round as AI labs make creators their top growth channel.

Archive launched Archie on Aug. 31, an AI agent that lives inside Slack and Teams and returns a shortlist of vetted creators when a marketer @-mentions it. Two days later, the San Francisco company disclosed a strategic funding round led by Anti Fund, the firm founded by Jake and Logan Paul, alongside Florida Funders, with angels from OpenAI and Perplexity and more than 50 operator-investors drawn from Attentive, Hugging Face, Brex and Ramp. Round size wasn’t disclosed.

The pairing is the point. Archie doesn’t just surface names; per Archive, it screens for competitor conflicts, inactive accounts, and fake audiences, then hands back a shortlist with reasoning attached and justifications for the creators it rejected. Early users are saving more than 15 hours a week on sourcing.

“When you get the right creators, the results speak for themselves. We’ve seen clients turn creator content into $4.5 million in earned media in two months on our platform,” said Paul Benigeri, Archive’s co-founder and CEO.

Co-founder Geoffrey Woo traces the workflow to Ketone-IQ, which he scaled past a $40 million revenue run rate while, he told Netinfluencer, reviewing thousands of videos by hand. Archive says it now processes tens of millions of short-form videos daily across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, 400% more than the next-best tool, and that two of the largest AI labs run creator marketing on the platform, alongside DoorDash, L’Oréal and Pinterest.

Read structurally, Archie is another data point in the same migration visible last week when Attentive’s AI Grow began turning anonymous site traffic into email lists: the acquisition work marketers used to staff, agent-shaped now. That AI labs are the anchor customers for a creator-vetting tool is its own tell about where growth budgets are pooling.
