ZoomInfo ships Agent Teams on DoubleO.ai orchestration, no new SKU

Multi-agent GTM plays — champion tracking, closed-won lookalikes — now run inside GTM Studio one day after the DoubleO acquisition closed.

ZoomInfo launched Agent Teams on Wednesday, October 1, one day after announcing it had acquired DoubleO.ai, the 2024-founded orchestration startup whose runtime now powers the capability inside GTM Studio. No new SKU. No new contract. It’s live for existing seats.

The compression is the story. A one-day gap between acquisition announcement and shipped product reads less like integration work and more like a pre-negotiated handoff, with the press release doing the ceremonial labor.

DoubleO.ai was built by Derek Osgood and Karthik Suresh, who previously founded Ignition, the GTM-operations platform acquired by Klue. Financial terms weren’t disclosed, per Investing.com. The founders’ prior exit matters here: the thesis they’re bringing in is that agentic GTM fails the moment context dies between steps, the failure mode VentureBeat quoted as “agents hallucinate or run differently every time, so someone ends up babysitting every step.” Agent Teams is pitched as the fix, with specialized agents passing state in real time and selecting next actions from current record state rather than a pre-baked script.

Two plays carry the demo weight. In champion tracking, a former buyer surfaces as CRO at a target account; agents check ICP fit, reconstruct the champion’s role, map the buying committee, draft outreach, and resume when a pricing-page visit fires later. In closed-won expansion, agents parse call transcripts, emails, and CRM records, draft a case study, surface ten non-customer competitors, and send tailored outreach to each.

For a five-person B2B revenue team, that’s work previously requiring a RevOps hire now running inside an existing contract. It also lands in a crowded week: HubSpot’s agentic customer-agent push at Unbound 2026, AiSDR’s self-serve Ami agent, and G2’s Verified Leads launch all point at the same thesis from different angles.

The open question is whether context survives agent handoffs under production load. The next eight weeks of customer deployments will settle it.
