Floqer takes its autonomous prospecting stack to Disrupt, pledges open-source release in early 2027
The eight-person Halifax startup claims customers cut prospecting time up to 70% using an agent fleet that enriches accounts from 100+ sources.
Floqer walked onto the Startup Battlefield stage at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 on Wednesday with an eight-person team, $1.2 million in ARR, and a pledge to open-source its autonomous prospecting technology in early 2027 pending security reviews. The pitch landed into a category that had already shifted beneath it: last week we just saw Apollo, Gong, and ZoomInfo ship AI sales agents inside 48 hours, which means the “describe your buyer, get a refreshed list” product is now table stakes rather than a thesis.
Floqer’s answer is a fleet of agents that enriches accounts from more than 100 third-party sources (TechCrunch’s Top 20 writeup said 80+; the discrepancy is unresolved) and runs what the company describes to TechCrunch as a “waterfall” across providers to verify emails and phone numbers. Customers have reported cutting prospecting time by as much as 70%, a figure attributed to the company rather than independently audited. The ARR number represents roughly a tenfold jump over the past year, and the customer list, which exceeds 1,000, includes Perplexity, Wise, and AngelList. Perplexity’s F7 Fund led part of a $2 million pre-seed round.
Co-founder and CEO Shivam Mahajan told TechCrunch that access is being gated “due to how much demand our team can actually serve properly.” It’s an unusually honest framing in a category that normally performs infinite scalability.
The product sits on top of HubSpot and Salesforce, and Mahajan has named Clay as the only direct competitor, which is a tell. In a week when the three largest incumbents in sales tooling shipped agent features, Floqer’s open-source pledge reads less like idealism and more like strategic positioning: if the agent layer is commoditizing anyway, controlling the open implementation is a better long-run position than trying to out-feature Apollo. The 2027 timeline will test whether that bet survives contact with a crowded field.
