Salesforce ships seven job-ready Agentforce agents, with outbound seller Hunter pushed to November GA

Casey, Piper, Carter, Paige, Marshall, and Fin are generally available now; Hunter enters pilot on a new long-horizon runtime that plans across weeks.

Salesforce on September 11, 2026 released seven named, role-specific Agentforce agents, six of them generally available immediately and one, the outbound seller Hunter, held in pilot until a November 2026 GA. The staging matters: Casey, Paige, Carter, Marshall, Piper, and Fin ship now for service, IT/HR, commerce discovery, supply-chain, inbound B2B qualification, and CX workflows. Hunter, the one that actually builds pipeline, arrives later on a new long-horizon runtime that plans across weeks rather than chats.

The framing is consistent with Salesforce’s prior push toward pre-assembled agents inside Customer 360. The company says it’s delivered 7 billion Agentic Work Units across Agentforce and Slack over two years, with 3.2 billion in Q2 alone, against 2.4 billion cumulative disclosed at Q4 fiscal 2026 results in February. The curve is real, though the unit is Salesforce’s own.

Under the hood: Agent Script, an open-source language; Fin Apex, a set of custom models trained for customer experience, running on Operator; Multi-Agent Orchestration now GA; AI Skills in Agentforce Coworker and Agent Optimizer targeted for October. The acquisition trail funds the portfolio. Salesforce bought Qualified in April 2026 for roughly $1.2 billion, about $1.1 billion in cash with $954 million in goodwill per its SEC filing, and agreed in June to acquire Intercom for approximately $3.6 billion per a Hercules Capital filing. Piper originates at Qualified; Fin at Intercom.

The vendor-supplied proof points come thick. Perk says Hunter builds 60% of its sales pipeline. Asana’s Piper deploys in 45 days on average and drives 4x conversation volume. Hibbett AI handles 90% of core shopper journeys after a six-week go-live. Autism Queensland resolves 70% of admin requests through Paige. Anthropic’s Fin resolves 79% of conversations autonomously. PPC Land notes that none of the six statistics carries a denominator, measurement window, or definition of resolution.

That’s the tell. Salesforce’s own CRMArena-Pro benchmark, published June 10, 2025 with 19 tasks and 4,280 query instances, put leading LLM agents at 58% on single-turn business tasks and 35% on multi-turn. Dreamforce runs September 15–17 at Moscone Center. Hunter’s pilot buys two months of narrative before the number that matters, whether long-horizon agents close the gap between single-turn and multi-turn, becomes the one Salesforce has to defend.
