Salesforce's AIforce puts the CRM inside Claude and Slack, targeting small sales teams

Announced Tuesday at Dreamforce, the new interface layer ships with 37 prebuilt sales skills — pricing and packaging are not yet set.

Salesforce on Tuesday unveiled AIforce at Dreamforce, a “live interface layer” that lets sellers run CRM workflows without opening the CRM. Marc Benioff, Salesforce’s Chair and CEO, called it an “interface revolution” from the keynote stage. The framing is more than a slogan; it’s a concession that the UI itself has become the product’s biggest tax on the people it’s supposed to help.

The launch bundles three products. Claudeforce is a prebuilt MCP server running inside Anthropic’s Claude, shipping with 37 prebuilt sales skills spanning prospecting through pipeline hygiene. Slackforce and Slack CRM bring the same context into Slack, so a rep can spin up an account, log call notes, or update a record from a prompt in a thread. Agentforce Coworker, which sits inside the Lightning UI, hit 100,000 activated users in its first 35 days, a data point Salesforce is treating as vindication for the entire interface pivot.

Patrick Stokes, Salesforce’s Applications president, told reporters in a briefing that the UI has often been “the thing that … slows them down.” That’s the pitch to a head of sales at a small team: fewer clicks between doing the work and logging it, which is where small-team pipeline rot originates.

Coworker plugs into the named Agentforce agents already deployed, including the inbound-pipeline Piper agent demoed at the keynote and the Koa CRM reasoning model built with Nvidia. Salesforce in Claude is in beta for all customers, with Deloitte, GitLab, and Legora named as pilots.

Two caveats sit under the announcement. Pricing and packaging are subject to change, and regional availability varies by contract. And during the conference itself, Salesforce Ben reported a global service disruption. An interface revolution still depends on the platform staying up.
